BEST WESTERN SILVER SADDLE RECOGNIZED AS
‘BEST OF THE BEST’ AT HOTEL CHAIN’S ANNUAL NORTH AMERICAN CONVENTION
Estes Park, Colorado,
February 7, 2006— For the third year in a row, Wally and Laurine Burke,
owners of the Best Western Silver Saddle in Estes Park, Colorado, received
the Best of the Best in quality award during Best Western International’s
annual North American convention. The Burkes were presented with the award
in front of more than 2000 industry peers.
The select honor is bestowed upon those member properties who receive two
consecutive perfect Quality Assurance inspection scores in a 12-month
period. The Best Western Silver Saddle has received seven consecutive
perfect scores. Additionally, the hotel must meet design and customer care
standards, as well as other membership requirements. The Best Western Silver
Saddle is one of only 23 hotels in North America to receive the award in
2005.

Located at 1260 Big Thompson Avenue, The Burkes have owned the property
since 1964. Their daughter, Jolene Svancara, manages housekeeping
operations. The Best Western Silver Saddle’s 55 well-appointed

irons and ironing boards, as well as free high-speed internet access. All
